The Minorities Recognition Awards NI (MRANI) is an initiative set up to recognize and celebrate excellence among Minority business in Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland has a proud history of welcoming and integrating migrants from different parts of the world and these awards will also create a conducive atmosphere for migrant businesses and the local people to come together and celebrate the positive contribution of migrant businesses and Professionals to the community.

MRANI exists to effectively reduce bias and promote unity in the workplace, diversity must be celebrated. Fostering equality and cultural diversity is a major challenge that all of society is facing right now. Business, and more specifically people management, can play an important role in this regard by focusing on workplace diversity and inclusion policies and strategies. The existence of differences within a particular framework is called diversity. Ethnic, cultural, religious differences, and various other factors can all play a role in the workplace. The practice of ensuring that people with these differences feel a sense of connection and encouragement from the company is called inclusion. In the workplace, equality is about making sure people have equal opportunities, and equal pay and that their differences are accepted. It promotes a safe, secure, and inclusive workplace where people from diverse backgrounds can thrive.
