Business, and more specifically people management, can play an important role in this regard by focusing on workplace diversity and inclusion policies and strategies. The existence of differences within a particular framework is called diversity. Ethnic, cultural, religious differences, and various other factors can all play a role in the workplace. The practice of ensuring that people with these differences feel a sense of connection and encouragement from the company is called inclusion. In the workplace, equality is about making sure people have equal opportunities, and equal pay and that their differences are accepted.
